The Holistic Stress Management Specialist™ (HSMS) is a credential that allows you to work with our R.E.L.A.X.™ program. R.E.L.A.X.™ can be used in your fitness facility place of employment or with your own personal clients. You may also become an affiliate and we will provide you access to our name, logo and marketing materials!

Become a Holistic Stress Management Specialist™ (HSMS) and you will be able to instruct the Mindful Stretch™ class, offer one on one meditation sessions use Aromatherapy and consult your clients on stress management. This program blends well with medical programs that your facility may already have. In our program, we use traditional stretches, some of which are similar to Makaho stretches. When stretching, we stretch the muscles but also move positive energy through the body. This helps to initiate the relaxation response.

Mindful Stretch™ is a gentle class designed to elicit the relaxation response in a different way from yoga or Pilates. Our classes blend relaxation with stretching and aromatherapy scents. The class is formatted in a certain way so that participants can achieve a total state of stress relief.

Stress is prevalent in all of our lives and this course will help your students to cope with their stress. When you implement the techniques in this course, your students will keep coming back to you. R.E.L.A.X.™ is the new generation of Mind/Body programming for the health and fitness industry. To become a Holistic Stress Management Specialistâ„¢ (HSMS) you must currently be a Yoga, Pilates, or Group Fitness Instructor. Please note that we do not certify individuals to become a Yoga, Pilates or Group Fitness Instructor. You must already have a primary certification if you want to take this certification The course was also developed to help health and fitness professionals cope with their stress. You will learn about stress and different techniques to help you cope. As health and fitness professionals, you are always giving to others, however, you need stress management also. Once you are certified, your certification is good for two years. It is important that each instructor is up to date with current information on fitness and stress management.

Education Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Prerequisites Recommended: Students must already be a Yoga, Pilates, or Group Fitness Instructor.

Target Audience: Health-Fitness Professionals

 

Continuing Education credit is included in the price of this specialist certificate program. Successful completion course online exam and practical exam is required to receive continuing education and to be awarded the Specialist Training Certificate of completion.
